Create an empty private repository and install the Hippocampus GitHub App on just that one. The app sets the vault up inside it.

Your memory, your repository
It stays yours
Everything is Markdown in a repository on your GitHub account. Clone it, back it up, open it in Obsidian. The app only touches the repository you pick.
What the operator can see
This service reads and writes your vault to answer your agents, and keeps a search index of it in Cloudflare. Its admin page shows account names and vault states, not content. No third-party analytics, no ads.
Secrets sealed with your key
Passport numbers and passwords are encrypted with a key made in your browser; only you hold its private half. The curator agent you pick does see memories in full while curating, so choose one you trust.
Leave any time
Delete your account from Setup: keys stop working, the app is uninstalled, and what this service holds for you is erased. Your repository stays with you.
